Hey Eric - the OPN 2004 isn't a Bluetooth scanner.  You'll want to check out the 2002 or 2006 versions, which are equipped with Bluetooth.

    Hi,

I bought the Eyoyo. Is there a manual for this scanner?

Hey Ken - the Eyoyo will work with ScoutIQ as long as you can pair it in HID (keyboard) mode.  We don't have a manual for this scanner, so you'll have to use the one that came with your scanner or look one up on Google.

I also have a Symbol (Motorola) CS3070...I have paired it to my android but when I scan a book it has a $ and a ^ at the beginning and the end of the barcode example....$9780393340747^  Is there a way to change it to the bookland isbn mode?

    Thanks,

    Nick

Hey Nick - If it's entering extra symbols, you can turn those off by scanning barcodes.  There should be a scanner manual that will allow you to remove a prefix or suffix.  Once you do this the scanner should work perfectly moving forward!

    Hey Lisa,

Ask the manufacturer if they have instructions on how to pair the scanner as an external keyboard (in HID Mode).  Once you connect it in this way, it'll work with ScoutIQ!  For additional help, email our team at support@scoutiq.co!

I'm not familiar with that model of scanner, but if you can pair it as an external keyboard (typically called HID Mode) it will work with ScoutIQ!

I purchased the Nadamoo Bur3148 bluetooth scanner.  Do you have a manual that I can use, or is any of the above I am able to use?

    Sincerely,

Hey Trisha - email our team at support@scoutiq.co to request a manual for Nadamoo.  If you can pair it as a keyboard in HID mode, it'll work with ScoutIQ!

The Nadamoo will work with ScoutIQ as long as you can pair it in HID (keyboard) mode. We don't have a manual for this scanner, so you'll have to use the one that came with your scanner or look one up on Google. You can also reach out to Nadamoo support.

    Hi Cecilia,
We don't have a manual for that particular scanner but as long as you pair it in HID/keyboard mode it will work with our app. You may be able to find instructions on how to use keyboard mode in the manual that came with your scanner, or reach out directly to Eyoyo support.

    Thanks!

I just got the eyoyo-009K wireless scanner and was able to pair it with my iPhone in HID mode; however, whenever I scan a book it doesn't show up or scan into Scout IQ. When I scan a bardcode it'll show up in my "notes" app and show the correct bar code, but for some reason the scan is not appearing into scout iq...? Can you tell me how to fix this?

    Thanks

The Eyoyo Mini as it's referred to works great. It velcros to the back of the phone with ease and allows you to make most scans in relative comfort. HOWEVER, there is one major downside to this scanner, it's batterly life is about 45 days give or take and you'll be buying another one. I'm currently looking for the same advantages I get from the EYOYO in something that has longevity. I just tried ordering the Nadamoo Bur3076, which upon first use I thought was the answer to my prayers; however, after only one day of those crispy reliable scans, I found that I was now having trouble pairing it to my phone. I tried for several hours trouble shooting trying to get it to pair with my blutooth but to no avail. This is a huge disappointment because this scanner by far had the durability, flexity of use, and overall distance and angle that a book scouter spends nights dreaming about, but I simply couldn't get it to pair after one day of use. Anyone have some tips on how to solve this conundrum or what scanner has solved your scanning woes? Price is an option, I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on what I still euphemistically call a hoby. Is there anything decent priced that just takes the cake for usability, scans per hour, and most importantly long term comfort when scanning? If you've found your go to, please extol its virtues with me.

    Cheers,

    Derek

What allows for the fastest speed, reliability, diversatility, SPEED, and comfort. I know many will have their pros and cons and certain nuances that make this aspect or this aspect great, but what scanner overall is the moderatelu priced one that delivers on what sellers want?

    Hey Derek
The scanners mentioned in this article are the ones we recommend. However, if you'd like to reach out to other sellers, I would suggest starting with our Facebook group! Email support@ScoutIQ.co if you need details.
